A sigh of relief // Aaron and Sandy

“I… can’t, I’m so dizzy.” He groaned and tried to open his eyes again but the room spun and there were three of her so he had to close them. “They.. beat me up because I were a bastard to them during the case… my name is clear so they jumped me, three of them.” Aaron opened his eyes once more, it was clear in them that he was trying his hardest to focus them the best he could.

Blinking hard, he struggled and tried getting himself sat up but gave up a few moments later and just rested his head on her lap. “You’re a good girl you know? Very pretty too.”

She bit her lip, looking down at him. She was not at all knowledgeable or helpful in situations like these. Sandy was more accustomed to being the instigator of people getting hurt. “Ok honey, ok. What’s your name? Can you tell me your name?” she asked quietly, knowing at the very least she had to keep him talking.

As he rested his head in her lap, she continued to stroke his face and face, trying to use her sleeve to wipe some blood away. “I wouldn’t say I’m very good, but thank you. You’re a very handsome man.. and you’re going to be ok,” she looked around for a sign of anyone who could send for help, but saw no one and returned to his face. Her blonde hair fell onto him and she put it behind her ears, the tips now soaked in blood. “You’re ok..”

“Hayden, my name is Hayden.” Aaron had to close his eyes again. “Those bastards…” He tried to sit himself up a bit and managed to get onto his elbows and spat out some more blood. “I will be fine… eventually but right now, I need a doctor.” Now he began his struggle to his feet, holding onto the hall as he did then managed to stand up, but his knees buckled under him so he gripped the wall the best he could.

“I think I’ve got some broken ribs.” His breath was shallow and he was finding it hard to breath in. “Help me… come here.” Aaron put his arm around her shoulders and tried to get her to lead the way and not hold up all his weight.

“Oh shit,” she said under her breath. She reached for him to try and stop him from standing up. “Aaron… AARON!” she scrambled to her feet and snapping out of her daze, slipping on the blood on the cold tile floor. As Sandy finally got to her feet, she became light headed from seeing all of the blood, but ignored the feeling and went to Aaron. “I’m here hun, I’m here,” she as he put his arm around her shoulders. She put her arms around him and tried her best to help hold him up, trying to be careful of his apparently broken ribs.

“We’re going to find a doctor.. you’re going to be OK,” she had no idea if that was true and she was terrified of the fact that he didn’t know his own name. She quickly led them down the hall and towards the more populated areas of the hospital. Luckily, the first person she saw was a guard. “You! GET A DOCTOR!” she practically screamed. He made a face and stared at her for a moment, confused at the fact he’d been given a command by a patient. He finally managed a “Yes!” and ran in the opposite direction. By the point she felt she could almost no longer hold him, she saw a group of white-coated figures running towards them.

"Who is Aaron?" He asked in a daze before blinking hard once more and batted at the doctors who came over and helped him up to his feet, holding him there but he just buckled from all the pain he was in before letting them take him along to the infirmary on the other side of the building so quite a few patients saw the mess Aaron was in.

He was put onto a bed and a couple of them had to hold him down as he started to panic a bit from all the people surrounding him. “Sandy?” Aaron glanced around in hopes to catch a glance of her and maybe calm down.

“I don’t know if you remember but I have amnesia, I have a good reason for not remembering anything.” Aaron tutted, he honestly didn’t remember the other two times and scratched his head a little before shrugging. “What the hell are you doing?” He raised a brow and took a drink from the bottle before wandering over and having a peek into the drawer before raising a brow.

“I’m not the one with Amnesia, of course I remember. I just expected it to be less so considering this conversation took place about ten, fifteen minutes ago.” Nathan replied, ignoring the tut and shrugged since it appeared Aaron didn’t remember them. “Looking for the key I pinched off one of the guards,” he answered distractedly, tugging through the many items in the drawer - mainly unopened packages of chips, broken items he had found interesting at some point, and a pair of new shoes oddly enough.

Aaron raised a brow at the many objects the man had then tutted a bit before he took out the shoes and had a look at the size. “I’ll be having these.” He put his hand on the other mans forehead so he couldn’t try and get them back before holding them about his head, just glad he was slightly taller than Nathan. “Finders keepers.”

Will & Aaron

“You ever heard the phrase ‘don’t wake a sleeping bear’? You might wanna think about that.” It was a mumbled response, punctuated by a healthy glare at the other man before he sat up to lean against the armrest. “I hightly doubt that a little ‘fresh air’ is going to help with my problems, Kiddo. There’s a good reason I’m in here, as I suspect there’s a reason you’re in here as well.”

“Amnesia, like… really bad but that story is for another time, get up old man.” He gave him a rough pull up off the sofa, Aaron was a lot stronger than he looked. “It will get you away from here, think about it that way.”

Pulling out of Aaron’s grip just as roughly as he was yanked to his feet, Will shot another glare at the slightly taller man. “And I suppose you’re going to take a stroll in the garden with me, huh? I can see it now, the makings of a beautiful love story, a happy ending.” His expression changed to one of blatantly fake happiness before dropping back to it’s usual slight scowl. “No thanks, I’ll pass.”

"Fine fine. Jesus…" He tutted at him then shook his head. "Be a grumpy bastard." Aaron moved back to the chair but had to pluck the patient that was now sat on it, out and tossed them to one side to sit himself back down.

“Unlikely, I’ve not pissed off any of the ghosts as of late and why take it out on me whatever you did to ruin their non-living lives?” Nathan mused to himself and then shook his head at him. “Are you just saying that because I have this or because you are a sarcastic arse?” He questioned, brow raised as Aaron sniffed the bottle.

“I generally do, but they’ve been checking my room as of late and so I had to find another place to put it after the Adrian bloke found it. Best place to put it where I would know it went missing.” He pointed out to him, finding it unlikely Aaron would find a place to hide it since Nathan had done so plenty times before. Was it arrogance that said he was a shade better? Probably…

“You do realise they’ll still do it for shits and giggles right?” Aaron raised a brow at him and nodded his head a bit. “I see I see, yeah, they’ve been poking around my room a lot more lately too but now our names are clear and they figured out whodunit I think we’ll be fine.” Or so he thought, Aaron knew that he had pissed off several guards over the last few weeks so that would probably come back to haunt him.

“We may as well make the best of the time we have left before we get the shit beaten out of us… now where are your cigarettes?”

“Obviously, but I’m kind of hoping they won’t and will just go after whatever you love instead,” Nathan commented to him, moving to the other side of the room to shuffle through his drawers. “Uh… they did? I could have sworn ten minutes ago you were bitching about them catching him soon so you wouldn’t have to deal with them,” he said, brow raised as he stopped rummaging through the drawers of miscellanious items.

“You’re thick and an idiot. I told you, I don’t have any cigarettes - twice,” he replied, shaking his head.

"I don’t know if you remember but I have amnesia, I have a good reason for not remembering anything." Aaron tutted, he honestly didn’t remember the other two times and scratched his head a little before shrugging. "What the hell are you doing?" “One of the ghosts might pick it up, decide to be a dick and throw it at the wall to smash it.” Aaron shrugged and grinned widely when Nathan stood up and produced the bottle. “Good man!” He reached over and took it from him, unscrewed the top and took a sniff before sighing.

“Woody but a good woody.” Aaron took a sip before putting the cap back on and gave it back to Nathan. “Perhaps you should just lie it on it’s side under the bed itself.” Aaron tilted his head to have a look under the bed to see if it was just a standalone one.
